If you want our "group" to expend and get some consideration, we need to be supported and known by the players.
I'm talking here to people who have access to other Magic Forum and who are writing for strategy websites: if you could drop a couple of lines and a link here and there, that would be great.
Cheers,
Raph

Hey Raph, I plan on focusing next week's Magic Show on this topic (the PT changes, WOTC's policies, etc).
What I would first suggest to you is that you make this place a little more official. Whoever is in charge (you, I guess?) needs to spend $6 and register MTGPlayersUnion.com and point it here. That will give players a much easier website to remember and make this place seem much more legit.
Hopefully you'll have more details as to how you see this show being ran (i.e. how the union actually functions) in the near future. I 100% support you in this, and hope to pimp this site as much as possible.
First though, go get that domain
Evan

This is a great start to a healthy future for all competive players. I will be putting the word out best I can. Is there any need for funds to be raised for this cause? Or will this be something that can be accomplished strictly through rallied supporters?

I opened a forum thread leading to this site on the German planetmtg.
I think we also need to get the Japanese involved, as Japan is a major magic country. It seems like there are none here so far and they probably have their own forums. So if anybody has connections there, please use them. I don't know any of the Japanese Pros well enough, but if somebody does he could send them a mail and have them post links in their forums.

Hey everyone. Adam Barnello here, SCG Writer and official diplomatic envoy from the Legacy community. I just wanted to drop in and let you know that although the recent PT announcements only tangentally effect us as Legacy players, we stand firmly behind all of you who are more directly affected by the changes. It's been mentioned and linked on mtgTheSource.com, and I intend to make the Legacy population aware that this involves every player of this game, not just those breaking into or on the Pro Tour.
We're with you guys, whatever you need, just let me know. Good luck!
Adam

Just posted on themanadrain.com Although it's a mostly Vintage site, these changes impact us all. And I'm sure there's quite a few Legacy players who'd like to see their format grow at the PT/PTQ level.
This is a great initiative! Best of luck to the committee!
