Ptq players had a very big problem after the cut of a pro tour, the possibility of became a pro player are very lower than before because you've got now just 3 chance to qualify to a ptq, so I think that a solution could be a ptq tournament like that give the invitational for the worlds, so ptq players don't loose so much with the cut of a PT because we continue to have 4 PTq.
The main problem of this idea, of course, is that pro players don't reach their goal and aren't preservated with this change...maybe a better fee enter to play worlds?

the idea of PTQs that give out tickets for Worlds is fully represented in tournaments called the NATIONALS. Period!

i believe that the difference btween the Worlds and the Pro Tour is also represented in the difference btween the PTQ and Nationals:

PTQ feeds PT - anyone can go, win and get to the PT

Nat feeds Worlds - u have to make it through the Qualifiers circuit to make it to the Nats to make it to Worlds: only the best of the country can go. A PTQ cirquit fo Worlds does not make any sense. What to do with Nationals then, if PTQ circuit will be made? uh?

In some countries, nationals is really easy. In some it's more difficult. The fact is, worlds already has a qualifying season. It's just compressed into one tournament.

Na, it would defeat the purpose of trying to make high ratings to qualify. Although they used to do that a few times in the past but soon it was turned away over time.
